Hearing Aid Users & Lipreading Group
Are you Hard of Hearing? Do you need to turn the volume up loud on the TV? Do you wear a hearing aid? Do you struggle to hear if it’s noisy?
If the answer is Yes to any of these questions, our Hearing Aid Users & Lipreading Group could help YOU!
Lipreading can help boost your confidence. It can help you communicate with others whether they are hard of hearing or not. The group is led by a professional tutor, Gill Pickford, who is a representative of the RNID.
The group will enable you to meet others who have the same difficulties as you.
The group meets every fortnight on a Friday between 10 and 12.
Between 12 and 1, there will be an opportunity for you to try out our equipment which can help you with your practical hearing difficulties. You can even borrow equipment to take home and try out!
Why not come along to our group? You will receive a warm welcome.
Even better……the only cost is the price of a cup of tea.
