Room Hire

At Bury Deaf Society, we have 2 rooms available for hire:

The Wallwork Room

This room which has recently been refurbished is situated on the first floor and is suitable for formal conferences and meetings as well as informal gatherings.  The room can be configured in various different configurations, as displayed in the pictures below.

The Mitchell Room

This room is situated on ground floor and is suitable for informal gatherings of up to 25 people.

The room dimensions are 4.5m x 11.5m.

Facilities available include:

• Large white board/projector screen
• Flip chart and stand
• Projector
• TV & DVD / Video
• Tea & coffee are available at a small extra charge when pre booked

General information about our building:

• Stair lift to first floor and toilets is available (including disabled toilet)
• Disabled access to rear of building
• Access to rear of building for unloading
• Loop system on the ground floor
• Doorways and corridors allow wheelchair access
• Kitchen
• Caretaking
• A number of public car parks are within a short walking distance of the building

Costs

Each room is available to hire at £10 per hour; Tea & Coffee is available at 50p per person.
