An excellent opportunity for ladies to take part in craftwork, sewing, card making, jewellery making and other crafts. You can meet new friends, learn a craft, interact with the deaf community and enjoy refreshments.
We have a hearing impaired, qualified sewing machinist, who can help you with alterations, making curtains and producing patterns for garments.
Twice a year the group has a weekend event based here at the deaf club. We attend the craft fair at Manchester Central every year and visit other deaf clubs together for events.
Beginners are very welcome.
The cost is 30p for members and 50p for non members but come and try it out for free first time!
