Christmas Dinner 2012
Bury Deaf Society Xmas Festive Dinner on 12.12.12 There were 28 people who attended this meal. A big thank you to Rita’s son who made this fantastic meal and it was enjoyed by all.

Ladies Craft Weekend – Nov 10-11th

Tree Planting
Holly Tree Planting October 2012 at Summerseat Nature Reserve. Members of the Bury Deaf Society are going to be planting trees at Summerseat Nature Reserve in January to March 2013. It was hard work but good fun last time!

Hawkshaw Gala – Jubilee Weekend
On the Saturday of the Jubilee weekend Carol, Christine, and Muriel manned a jewellery store for the Society at the Hawkshaw Gala. Ladies Craft Event – November 2011
In November 2011 we held one of our highly successful bi-annual Ladies Craft Event weekends. These are an excellent opportunity for ladies to take part in craftwork, sewing, card making, jewellery making and other crafts. BBQ & Pool Competition – June
In June, on a day with great weather we held a BBQ at the Deaf Centre which was very enjoyable for everyone who attended. Fabulous sausages!
